Lead Pastor Andy Ober
  • Lead Pastor

Bio

Born and raised in New England, Andy met his wife Lisa in Cambridge in 2006. He and Lisa found a spiritual home at Highrock Arlington, where Andy served as the director of the social justice ministry.  Prior to rejoining Highrock to plant a new church, he served with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in the Boston area and in Connecticut for 9 years. Andy and Lisa moved to Hyde Park in 2017 to plant a new church focused on Hyde Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. When he’s not pastoring, you can find Andy hanging out with his wife and playing with their four young children.

Lisa Ober Kidsrock Director
  • Kidsrock Children's Ministry Director

Bio

Lisa is a native of Queens, NY, who couldn't help falling in love with Boston. Lisa has enjoyed ministering through the changing seasons of her life, as a middle school teacher, InterVarsity chapter planter, published poet, blogger, preacher, homeschooler, and, most recently, as Kidsrock Director and Pastoral Apprentice at Highrock Southwest Boston. Lisa is grateful for her husband Andy's partnership both in marriage and ministry and for their four awesomely rambunctious kids: Sam, Grace, Peter, and David. When not ministering or chasing toddlers, Lisa loves reading, exploring new cities, and dance parties!
