Run down from your routine? No time for yourself or friendships? It’s time for a RESET.
Welcome to Highrock Southwest Boston! We would love to invite you to a service on Sunday or to any of our public events. If you’re new to Highrock, Sunday worship at Roslindale House is a good place to start. Whether you're looking for a church or a place to ask questions and connect with God, we look forward to seeing you soon!
Sunday service at Highrock is a place to rejoice, revive, and rest, where we worship, serve, eat, and laugh together as a community. It's where messy and broken people come to encounter a loving God who desires to heal and transform. It's where we find strength in following Christ.
We meet in the auditorium of Roslindale House, located at 120 Poplar St. Roslindale. Look for the Highrock SW Boston signs.
Please come as you are! You don’t have to dress or act a certain way, or even believe what we believe! Each week, we sit in a circle facing one another. This arrangement enables us to provide more space for discussion after the sermon so that we all have a chance to contribute to our worship experience. This format has brought us closer to one another as a church family, and has helped us to learn from one another's perspectives and experiences. We know that this is new and so each week we encourage everyone to participate how they feel comfortable.
We worship in a variety of ways, through songs, stories, and sermons. We value relevance while adhering to centuries-old Christian traditions, and incorporate both ancient and contemporary elements in our worship.
Join us after service for some coffee, yummy snacks, refreshments, and good conversation.
On Sunday mornings, we begin worship all together in the sanctuary. Just before the sermon, Nursery care opens for infants through preschoolers. After the sermon, parents bring their little ones back into the sanctuary to end with more inter-generational worship.
Starting on Sunday, September 8, we are offering Kidsrock, programming designed for ages K-grade 5. From 9:30-10:15, your elementary age child is invited to participate in our engaging, interactive class to help kids grow in love for God and for his Word.
During our service at 10:30, kids ages kindergarten and up are invited to join us in the sanctuary for inter-generational worship. Each week, we put together special yellow clipboards with activities and coloring pages to help elementary age children engage with sermon content.
On Sundays, many of our tweens and teens serve in various areas of the church like our Nursery, Kidsrock, Worship, Tech, and Welcoming ministries. In addition, we encourage middle and high schoolers to participate in the entire worship service.

Highrock wants to include everyone around God's table, including those with physical challenges. In both our strengths and our limitations, we each reflect essential elements of the image of God. We hope that you will feel welcome here so that the image of God we reflect as a church body might be more complete.

There's a lot to our community beyond Sunday mornings! For more information about any of the groups below, email Pastor Andy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sundays are important times to get together, but we also know that community happens throughout the week! We are a community that believes in building relationships over a meal and genuine conversation. Our community groups consist of simple pot-luck meals and times getting to know one another, and discussing a book or scripture together. See our calendar for the current community groups.
Women’s Group is a diverse group of ladies — single and married, with kids and without, and of any age — who get together monthly over food to encourage one other to explore and deepen faith.
We want to be a community that knows and encourages one another to follow Jesus together. A follow triad is a group of 3 (or 4) people who gather regularly prayer and encouragement in our spiritual journeys.
We want to be a church for southwest Boston. One way that we do that is quite simply to show up--to be present. We value being together in and with our communities as we think better how God might use us to serve Southwest Boston.
